Claudio Frehner brings more than 25 years of experience in financial services and has shaped the industry across a range of leadership roles - as Strategy Consultant, Chief Strategy Officer, global Operations Leader, and CEO. This combination of strategy and corporate development, operational leadership, and transformation forms an experience profile rarely found in the industry.
He laid the foundation at Boston Consulting Group, where as a Project Leader he advised leading financial institutions on strategy, restructuring, and digital business models—across markets and sectors, from wealth management and investment banking to insurance. As CEO of a Swiss bank, he delivered record results under challenging market conditions and repositioned both the institution and its digital platform. At Credit Suisse, as Managing Director, he led global operations units and directed comprehensive digitalization initiatives. As Chief Strategy Officer at Bank Vontobel, he shaped the group's strategic direction over twelve years - from the repositioning of Private Banking and the build-out of new business activities to international partnerships and M&A transactions.
